When the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) released the voter registration results for the year 2016, after the first phase of mass registration, the numbers communicated the same message that they did in 2012 November. Though there was utter apathy of registration at the grassroots, the register expanded a great deal. Below is the comprehensive analysis and breakdown of the IEBC total registered voters.  It is broken down in terms of regions, constituencies, counties and tribes.

Also, see registered voters per constituency in Kenya, registered voters in Kenya by tribe and total registered voters in Kenya. Again, check out the IEBC registered voters per polling station, IEBC registered voters per ward and Kikuyu registered voters. Dont forget to find the total Kalenjin registered voters, IEBC voter registration status and registered voters per county in Kenya 2016. Check out the logical breakdown.

    Nyanza is not convincing

    • Dominic Ochiend says:

In deed not convincing from the statistics shown a lot more needs to be done in terms of vote sensitization / registration. But does it mean that the population growth & those that attain the majority age is not improving by the day? Its propaganda as usual

      • Coz they are ever in the streets rioting instead of collecting id’s. The reason their huge rallies don’t translate into votes. As they are demonstrating mt. Kenya are busy registering figures

    • kinyungu says:

I do not understand how the writer of this article chose to stoop so low as to add The TRIBE factor in the title of this article. I DO NOT understand why the writer who claims to be “Proudly Kenyan” can be so colonial so western shallow minded and in so doing be very un-kenyan as to try to divide us ‘Wanainch Wazalendo ” in tribal lines. Yes there is a part of it where he/she is seeking to get web traffic by attaching those search keywords but in so doing is in fact is dividing Kenyas and seeking financial GAINS for it. These are the very people that Kenyans; the real Nationalist Kenyans are fighting. We do not want fake pretenders that do things in the name of our beloved country Kenya (“Proudly Kenya”) but in fact use terms and ways to divide us and in turn benefit financially. We need Kenyans to have one VOICE we need Kenyans who focus on actions and track record instead of tribes. We the Elite/Nationalist/None-tribal Kenyans will look at each candidates record and judge them from it We will ask ourselves this famous question first put forward by president Ronald Reagan of United States are we better off or worse off Now than we were 3 or 4 or 10 years ago in the ward level/county/province and country level. The answer will determine our vote. by MMK

      • As you said, the writer is a writer. A person who writes what people need. You can quote Reagan, Sophocles or even Robert Greene. But as a pragmatist, I know the need for reality. The reality is that Kenyans need to know the distribution of votes across different tribes. And, who else but the writer can do that? Should I let them subject themselves in lies, while I have the empirical proof from the IEBC voter’s register? You say tribe divides you- but isn’t that very hypocritical of you? Do you have an ID card and if yes, did the Registrar of persons divide you? Hehe… It get’s funny at times when some black person pretends they are not black and think they are wrong for having melanin. Well, let’s get to the point- if you dont have a tribe, what language did you mother teach you? Why dont you have a ‘Kenyan’ name instead of ‘Kinyungu’?
For sure am not telling anyone they are different, am only an innocent analyst trying to tell Kenyans what they are looking for. And the fact that you came here shows it helped!

    • Hello proud Kenya
Where are the tribal figures. Or are you referring to the subcounty as the tribe? For instance western should not be construed to mean luhya though they are the majority
